Orchestrated Systems

Orchestrated Systems was a month-long exhibition at Relay Santa Fe featuring contemporary artists working in advanced new-media and systems-based practices. The works on view operated as evolving systems - sonic, mechanical, algorithmic, or interactive - rather than static objects, unfolding over time and responding to audience presence, environmental conditions, or internal logic. The month-long format let audiences encounter the works repeatedly and experience how complex systems change through interaction and time.I produced the exhibition with Hannah Kramm and Matthew Contos, presented in partnership with Currents New Media, and provided installation coordination and technical support across the run. Programming included an opening reception with artist performances, talks and demonstrations during the exhibition, and a five-voice holophony performance staged within the installed works. Made possible with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
