I joined Meow Wolf in 2018 as a System Architect and became Vice President of Technology later that year, leading technology across the organization while Omega Mart (Las Vegas) and Convergence Station (Denver) were in development.Work I did during this time directly shaped the Digital Storytelling department, the team behind the RFID based in-exhibit gaming, early Meow Wolf app prototypes, timed ticketing, kiosk experiences, and the other digitally interactive elements woven through the exhibits. As System Architect I produced the technical specifications for in-exhibit interactive gameplay through cross-functional workshops, led the design and procurement of hardware systems for indoor and outdoor kiosks and touch interfaces, and oversaw interactive prototypes and playtests exploring the guest experience of future exhibits.As VP of Technology I built and led the technical teams, including IT operations, digital operations, developer operations, software engineering, and R&D in emerging media, managed core technical IP and infrastructure, and partnered with executives across the organization on strategy and new initiatives.
